Wait, I know this one....you're supposed to do something when life gives you lemons....whiskey sours, yes that's it!

When life gives you lemons, get hammered on whiskey sours.

Yes, I am positive that's right.

I thought Bee’s Knees, but that’s my gin martini talking.

I'm sure a little Pusser's or something fits quite well in there too.

The Shrubb makes a fine Mai-Tai.

There's a Vieux Carre calling me to start happy hour a bit early this evening. Posting this is probably not going to help me resist. I do like to experiment with this one a bit. I've been using Prohibition High Rye Bourbon as my rye, and a variety of nicer rums for the cognac. Tonight maybe el dorado 15 or dos maderas 5+5. I usually short the Carpano Antica sweet vermouth just a little and make it up with a slightly long Benedictine. I do like working from home.

Hear, hear! I love that one.

I used to Carpano Antica but now I La Quintinye, and please-sir-thank-you on the long Benedictine.

So, we're neighbors. I'm in Hollywood, where do you get La Quintinye?

Primo liquors on US1 just south of the tunnel downtown, on the East side. They also know how to order Hamilton products :)

Total Wine and More on 17th street, in the Harbor Shops.
