The Islands of the Fraternal Order of Moai

Hi all. I want to thank all of you who have sent your wishes our way during the last 6 wks or so. For those who don't know Grandma passed away on March 26th and Grandpa followed 6 days later. After 72 yrs together they could stay apart. Some of you have wondered about what was going on and here are the details. We will have a memorial on Thursday the 7th at Sugar Creek Methodist church in Chatham with the Inurnment the following day . Some have asked about flowers or memorials. We ask that no flowers be sent and instead memorials can be made to either the Ashton, IL. Methodist Church or to the Lions Club of Ashton,IL. Once again thanks to everyone for all of their surport

Hello everyone just wanted to Thank all of you for all of your prayers Please keep them coming today and tomorrow are going to be the hardest Hugs to all Love Steve and Tim

Grandparents are such special folks...very sorry for your loss.

The Tag-alongs were very devoted to their grand parents. They moved from the Chicago land area to Springfield to be near them and help with their care. When the folks started to slide down hill, the guys gave up their home and moved in with Grandma and Grandpa to take over all of their daily care.
My thoughts and prayers are with you guys as you say your last good-byes at the up coming memorial. Try to take some comfort in knowing that Grandma and Grandpa are together again. After being married for what? 60 years or something like that, they wouldn't have wanted to live a part.
