That's right folks, Chicago's ABC Channel 7 will be filming @ the Chef for an upcoming episode of 190 North, tonite starting around 6:30pm. How frickin' cool is that?

What's the word on how the shoot went? What did the show highlight? Is anyone from Red Palms now a TV star?

The crew was there shooting for quite a while, but who knows how much will wind up on the cutting room floor. They just came back from filming a Hawaii piece and are tying the Chef segment in with that show. They filmed an interview with Betty, and shot alot of the restaurant's decor including the new 8ft Foam Moai, then they went around to different tables. Rog & Mel, Gary & Donna, Dave & Lorie, and Coalbe & I were all there and they did come over our table and film some stuff, not sure how much will make it, I guess we'll find out when it airs on 5/13 and repeats on 5/19.

Thanks for posting the video. I have never been there. They do have a nice ceiling fan. I can only see the part of the light fixture in the video, but I recognize it since we have the same one in our bar. The fan should have big leaves for the blades. They have good taste.

One of these days we will make it there.
