I *love* this.

Yes. Yes, I really do.

I may buy a snuggie and do one, just so I can add it to my list on the Guilty Pleasures thread.

I mean, think about it: pure, cozy comfort ALL NIGHT, but still at a bar with [presumably] fun, like-minded people. No girls are dressed like ho's (which is why I'm betting you guys really hate it), no guys are dress like Guidos, and no one looks superduper hot while others look blah.

Funny.. my brother just told me about a snuggie ladies night at a local pub here.

I told him that it sounded retarded. He said it might be alright, but he wasn't going. I told him he could borrow my daughter's snuggie. He still declined.

A brief reading of the minutes from our last Queequeg meeting would show how cutting edge my fund raising propositions are,

I suggested FOM Snuggies!!!!!

(and it was warmly received!)

Just imagine how FOM Snuggies would have sold at OHANA last year!

On the hill, watching Jon's movies, all snuggied and warm...

I know the feeling. I lost a snuggie in a family gift exchange game to Joanna's cousin. I had that Snuggie for a solid 45 minutes, right up until the end. Oh sure there were Slankets and all the other knock-offs in the game, but I had the only real Snuggie. So her cousin took it from me with the sole purpose of using it for a Snuggie Bar Crawl. I was so looking forward to kicking back on the couch playing the PS3 with the fire going in the man cave, but noooooooo. First I was all "Why couldn't you take on of the knock-offs no one else wanted, what are they doing Snuggie DNA tests", then I was all, "I hope it gives you a rash", then I was finally being rational, "That's fine, I had my whole day planned around my Snuggie. I was planning on laying on the couch tomorrow buck-naked playing my PS3 all wrapped up in my Snuggie. I plan to still do that, but now without my Snuggie, so you can pay for my kids' therapy later."

I do not support the Snuggie Crawls as they do not benefit me.

It is retarded. Sheesh. Honestly, people... if you really must own one of these things, at least have the good taste to leave it at home.

Although the amount of static electricity generated by all those people wearing huge amounts of fleece in the cold dry weather could probably power the bar for the night.

I see no reason why you can't do both simultaneously.

Yes, but for home use only. I am sure that is in the fine print at the end of the meeting minutes.

This represents a further lowering of the bar when it comes to standards for what qualifies for fun these days. No creativity, no resourcefulness, just jump on whatever bandwagon pulls up filled with whatever vapid crowd to run with.

Swap the pine tree for a palm tree and lose the clothing

BTW you know Sully is going to ruin his keyboard (again) when he sees that photo.
