Aloha all,
I've made my way through stormy seas and found myself in your safe harbour. I'm very interested in leaning more. I'm in Buffalo and heard talk of more of you here. A good friend of mine is a member in Pittsburgh and he's reignited my spark for all things tiki. I'd love to meet some others in my area. Thanks for any help or words of encouragement. Aloha from the Queen City.

Aloha.

Welcome to port. You're in good company.

Sit back, make a drink, and tell us about yourself.

Aloha & welcome--and yes, there are Moai in the greater Buffalo area and (relatively) nearby upstate NY environs. Buffalo . . . Buffalo?

Aren't people in Buffalo weary of those from Pittsburgh? (As maybe we all should be.)

There are Moais an hour and change north of the border in Toronto, too. ALOHA from the Great White North...!

We are both from Northern NJ, Former scooterists, and have moved about a bit, So there is that.. s. Vincent. s is a top notch fellow however. we recently reconnected after a few years, just like old times, but a little less crazy, guess that is what getting older is all about.
Be Wary of Pittsburgh.. we are coming for your rum again...

Aloha and welcome to the Port! Buffalo has been seeing a lot of activity in the Port lately....

Today (7/16), there is an event at Hydraulic Hearth from 6-11 pm that I will be at and I think Tiki J will be there as well. The cocktails will be from the Veiled Pearl which is a pop up bar Tiki bar that is the creation of Danny from Buffalo Proper. He was at Ohana for the first time this year and makes great cocktails. Look for me if you can make it, I have a beard and will be wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a straw hat. So that should narrow it down to half the people there:)

If you can't make it, don't worry. We want to set up a FOM meet up sometime soon this summer.

Also, tell us more about yourself. What's your favorite drink? How did you get into Tiki? What are your favorite bars in Buffalo? How can we trust someone who has friends in Pittsburgh?
