Odd coincidence. A Cocktail Kingdom printed catalog just arrived for me at lunch. The ice cone molds are in there.

As are some beautiful matched sets of barspoons and julep strainers in 4 different metal plate finishes. I was in Amor Y Amargo
(where they sell Cocktail Kingdom product) last night and picked up a set in copper. Gorgeous!

They did not have the ice cone molds though...

I was able to get one at Hukilau this weekend, and I'm not disappointed with quality. I didn't expect to be, but there's always that bit of apprehension before knowing if a product will look and feel as good in person as it does in concept drawings. I'll be making one tonight, and report back on how well it works.

I had forgotten this post, glad you brought it up.
One good source was the Tiki+ app by Jeff Berry. He had a good section on setting up a bar but the best advice I was given was choose a drink, then get the ingredients. Choose another that builds on the first and get the ingredients for that. Soon you will have a fully stocked bar.

Punch magazine online has some tasty recipes.

The old Trader Vic's books are not to be forgotten. Biblio.com can find them for not too much.

Btw, TJMAX,Marshalls,Homegoods tends to be a more cost effective source for glassware than thrift stores. For some reason the Goodwill stores seem to hike the glassware prices.

The successor app, Total Tiki, has some of the same material but not as much as the books so I always recommend picking up a copy of at least the "Revisited" editions.
