Personal Statement: Living the Dream
It was suggested by my good friends Scott and Bill that I needed to step up and show, in the way of pictures, just how deep the rabbit hole goes. I will be posting my collections and decorations that will hopefully gain me an admission into the Ohana.
First a few introductory remarks.
1. Ever gone to The Hukilau? Yes, 4 times.
2. Favorite drink(s) at the Molokia Bar at the MaiKai? The Jet Pilot and the Rum Barrel (duh).
3.What do you know about mermaids? Once a mermaid, always a mermaid. Exceptions? None!
4. Into Tiki since? 1999.
5. Have you ever invented your own Tiki drink? Yes. The Astro Tango. (recipe for another time)
6. Big Kahuna moment. When "Shag" signed my portable bar at the 2010 Hukilau.
7. Did you win anything doing Tiki? Well, I helped put together the winning room for the "Tikis in Space" contest in 2010.
8. Ever visit Hawaii? Yes 2012. Oahu and Hawaii.
9. Did you remember anything from the Golden Age of Tiki? Yes. Visited a restaurant when I was a little kid that had a Tiki Theme. Don't remember where. May have been on a trip to Florida. The Tradewinds?
10. Any thing else? Donated a Trader Vic Tiki to help with the Bahi Hut renewal.

All the mugs you see may not be particularly valuable, but I've drunk out of all of them! Aloha! ImageImageImageImageImage
