I'd like to know if there is anywhere in Raleigh NC to get inspiration for Tiki expeditions. Or Charlotte..

The Outpost in Raleigh is serving up authentic tiki drinks. The decor is tiki light, not immersive like the tiki heavyweights. Sean knows his rums and is super cool. Usually cool people and a relaxed vibe.

In Hillsborough you can get tiki drinks from Robby at LaPlace. They also serve great NOLA style food. No tiki decor, just a few great cocktails and awesome food.

In Durham, Alley 26 hosts Waikiki Wednesdays. Rob is mixing up authentic tiki drinks and chef Carrie always adds some tropical/Hawaiian food to the menu. They almost always have at least one tiki drink on the regular cocktail menu. No tiki decor as they are a craft cocktail bar and restaurant.

You can also get a great tiki cocktail from Daniel or John at Bar Virgile in Durham. Again, no tiki decor but awesome cocktails, people, and food.

I don't think there are any tiki bars in Charlotte. Maybe some places mixing up good drinks. Unknown.

If you come to Durham or Raleigh, let me know. I'd be happy to meet up if possible.

Cheers!
