Hello, my name is Kristen and I am interested in joining the order! I've been collecting tiki for about 10 years (ever since I turned 21 and went to my first tiki bar Forbidden Island) but I've loved all things Polynesian since I was a little kid. I spend most of my time with my almost 1 year old son, Big Al, who has been living tiki since day 1. If you'd like to follow our adventures my Instagram is @tikibabysf

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Alohowdy!!

You look very familiar!? What part of the Bay Area are you in?

I live in Alameda, so perhaps I've seen you at Longitude(*snif) or perhaps F.I.

Fellow Alamedan!!! I try to go to F.I. at least once a month so that's probably it, I only got to go to Longitude a few times. Did you see that there might be a new tiki bar taking their place?

Hi ya Kristen.

it appears we may be having an informal local F.O.M meet and greet, the best way to get introduced to your
friendly neighborhood Moai, next month.

We will most likely make a post in here, but I will PM/email the info to you as soon as it's solid.

Kristen,

Aloha and welcome! Always great to get to know fellow Bay Area tiki folks! As Skillbilly mentioned stayed tuned for more info on a local FOM get together.

Matt

Aloha Tikibabysf,

Welcome to the Port! Tell us a little more about yourself?

As far as Longitude is concerned, there may be a tiki-in-name bar headed in there but the Longitude owners aren't involved so we'll see what happens.

Looking forward to hearing all about you!

Suzanne
