Despite growing up in Whittier, California, I was completely unaware of Oceanic Arts until recently, that is, after moving to the Chicago area. However, I finally made it there last month. It was definitely worth the visit.

I also made it to Tiki Farms headquarters in San Clemente, California, as I happened to be staying a couple of blocks away during part of the same trip. There isn't a lot to see in the lobby -- though there seems to be a large display of Tiki mugs somewhere in the back, based on some pictures I've seen -- but it was still worth the visit to pick up a new mug direct from the world's largest producer of Tiki mugs. I'm sure I'll be back on a future visit.

So now I've checked off two of the 7 [Existing] Wonders of the Tiki World (yes, an arbitrary number but one that sounds good for obvious reasons). What are some of the others that still exist (which rules out something like the Kahiki Supper Club)? Maybe the annual Tiki Oasis event in San Diego? What else should be on the list?

I'd say the Tiki Ti in L.A. maybe Latitude 29 in New Orleans.

perhaps the "original" Trader Vics in Emeryville?

...and I hear there is a Walgreens in Columbus that simply must be seen....

Vic's and Don's graves are not "wonders", but pilgrimages should be on a tiki bucket list.

Or even the Polynesian Village Resort at Disney World, which includes one of the two Trader Sams. I have yet to visit the Trader Sams at Disneyland, but the one at the Polynesian, which I have visited, appears to be the lesser of the two. On the other hand, an entire themed hotel dating back to the tail-end of the original Tiki craze seems pretty worthy of the list, even if its Trader Sams is not quite as impressive.

I think if you include an Enchanted Tiki Room, it would have to be the original one in Disneyland. It dates back to the 60s and was never revamped to include movie characters.

As others mentioned, definitely the Mai Kai, Tiki Ti and Bali Hai and I would ad Foundation in Milwaukee and The Alibi in Portland :D

We've toured the mug museum at tiki farm, it's impressive and very nice people!

Actually the Poly has been greatly modified over the past couple years and it's Great Ceremonial House no longer resembles the late 60s architecture that it once had, sadly... The revamped Lobby is nice, but lacks the WOW factor it once had... Trader Sam's is a nice addition but pales in comparison to it's West Coast counterpart...
The Enchanted Tiki Room at the Magic Kingdom as originally a bigger budget build and production than the California version...From the whispers I am hearing, it is slated for another remodel or complete closure... Enjoy it while you can!

Definitely The Tonga Room in San Francisco. Indoor thunderstorms and an indoor lagoon, complete with boat. It's a tiki bar / restaurant unlike any other I've been to. It's been a bit since I've been there, but I hear their drinks have vastly improved.
