1819.....Zombi-word first recorded in English
1929.....Seabrook writes his Magic Island. A sensationalist tale of Haiti and Zombies.
1932.....Influenced a bit by the above, Hollywood produces Bela Lugosi in White Zombie.
1934.....Don Beach creates his mender of Broken Dreams. The Zombie cocktail

Okay but....

1939.....Zora Hurston publishes Tell my Horses where in she explores the Zombie powder as a medicinal. (Sort of..)
1985.....Influenced by above (or maybe sort of stolen..??),Wade Davis student of Richard Evans Schultse (famous Harvard ethnobotanist of Amazonian fame) publishes Serpent and the Rainbow

Supposedly identifying the Pufferfish tetrodotoxin as part of the Zombie powder.

So in honor of the animist cultures that Tiki derives from, with the concept of form of an object influences the outcome..
I put this question to all.

Should not the Zombie be drunk in a Pufferfish Tiki mug? (limit 2 per customer)

Love this one, man! That "Serpent and the Rainbow" movie freaked me out as a kid. Being one that grew up on horror movies, this seemed like something that could actually happen in the mind of a 10 year old so it frightened me. Still weirds me out whenever I go back and watch it.

Yes the Serpent and the Rainbow
A special relationship you have with it Rev Dan. Glad you enjoyed the stream of madness.
As an aged 10 yr old myself, I always appreciate anything that can weird me out.

The balance of Heaven and Earth, just like the Hornbill and the Dragon for the Dayaks of Borneo.

And BlonDi, I am so happy to hear you concur with my theories of mug phenomena

Here is a metaphorically derived virtually presented Zombi punch for you in the aforementioned Pufferfish . (Limit 2 per customer)
