The Kon-Tiki chapter will be hosting a tiki carving booth at the 2009 Surf Ohio Festiki on Aug. 15 in Dayton.
KahuMikala and Savage Hi-Fi will be carving tikis over the course of the day at our booth. We're having some palm logs shipped up from Florida for easier carving in front of the crowd.
Would any other FOM carvers care to join in?
The idea is to have several carvers alternating throughout the day, so that you also can get out and enjoy the event.
Carvers are welcome to be part of the Kon-Tiki's demonstration booth, or you can have your own booth if you wish to sell your wares. Mr. Surf Ohio will waive the $50 booth cost for vendors who carve during the event.
