Folks, I am looking for a 13' or 16' travel trailer. Sleeps 2 to 4 people, used. Hoping to keep it $2000 and under. Don't mind if work needs to be done on it. Doc & are are in Ft Laud but don't mind if it's within the Florida state.

I keep running across the same scams on Craigslist - and I keep flagging those posts. I was having a bit of fun with the scammers, but it gets boring and I'd like to get on with finding a fun camper to work on.

Nic,
Nice, but a bit above what you want to pay:

Love it! But yes - don't need to get new. Ebay has some out there. I'm even looking to do something fun and unconventional. Just don't need/want a drive train - so I want to stick with something I can tow.

Good amount of RV's. Not a bad resource - they are a bit more traditional. I think we're going to probably build something once we get the backyard done.

Going to check out a 1976 apache cimarron camper. It needs work, they're asking $1600, but I think that's a bit high with what needs to be done:

Seller says that one of the lift chains needs to be replaced, he has all the parts and 2 spare gear boxes.
