One of the best shows I have ever seen, and I’ve been to a lot of shows, was Granite Tiki and friends doing Monkees night. I believe it was an open jam, but I could be wrong. There were a ton of musicians there just preforming the music of the Monkees. It was the best.

He was a cool dude. Knew him personally, he's was also my daughters step dad. He hooked up with my ex back in 2009, but he was a good step dad, he took her on the tour bus with the rest of the band and the band stage pass events. RIP Peter.
