No cause of death has been given, but in a prescient warning, Warrior on Monday addressed screaming wrestling fans with the words, "Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized."

Wasn't there always a story that the original UW died and they replaced him with another wrestler in make up?

Yeah, I remember that rumor. LOLZ!

I can't believe how well written and.... soulful some of the articles concerning his death are.

This is the best one I've seen, yet.

I heard this first thing this morning. What a bummer.
I never watched pro wrestling until I married Roger Danger. Roger was a huge fan since he was a little kid and got to see some of the big names who actually came through our town to a wrestle at a place on the east side of town.As side bar the building now houses Roger's office .
I loved the campy wrestling matches of the 80's through mid 90's. Many of my favs from that period are gone now: Randy Savage, Big Bossman, Rick Rude, Andre the giant, Junk yard dog, Mr. Perfect, The British Bulldog and Owen Heart. Owens death affected me the most has Roger and I were actually watching this live when he fell to his death.
Ultimate warrior was less than a month older than I. Rip big guy.

I Just watched a video of his speech at Wrestlemania. He looked nothing like the old Warrior. You could be next to him at the store and have no clue who who he was.

always very unsettling when someone close to my age drops over dead.

Man, I am still really, really bummed out about this.

I guess it's one thing when a booze-and-drug-addled rock star or a self-absorbed actor kicks the bucket too soon, because you always kind of saw it coming. But, this guy?!?!?
Image

His death just doesn't seem like a possibility.

It's as though you can hear the Grim Reaper saying, "You want me to take THAT GUY down?!?!? LOLOLOLOLOLZ!!!!! Riiiiiight."

It may be that years of roid abuse did a number on his heart, and he may have had an underlying condition he did not know about. Sadly not the first 50 year old man to wake up in the morning and be dead before dinner.
