Harryhausen animated some of my favorite films from the 50's - 70's B movie era. There was a great short bio on him on TCM a few years back, I hope they replay it. George Lucas said, "Without Ray Harryhausen, there would likely have been no Star Wars". Rest in Peace, Sir. |

Just saw this on line. at 92 he had a good life and made all of us happy with his many films. |

As much as Ray Harryhausen will be missed, I look forward to the inevitable marathon on TCM. Call it a silver lining. |
