Deep Purple Keyboardist Jon Lord Dies at 71.

He turned me on to Bach and Beethoven.
I met him and all but one of his band mates during their 80s reunion tour.
He was kind and very much the gentleman.
If you saw the video clip of me in the 80s montage that I made for FOM Prom you saw what my room looked like in high school and college, wall-to-wall Deep Purple pics.

When I went to Catholic school and had to be confirmed I took the name Jon.
Not an official saint name.
During the ceremony the archbishop looked at it twice and went on with it anyway.
So I took the name of Jon as my patron saint of rock and roll.

R.I.P. Mr. Lord.

Bring back the Gallery!!!! please
We shall conquer and prosper, for WE ARE MOAI!!!
To Roger.
