I saw Booker T and the MG's many years ago at the Cubby Bear in Chicago. Donald "Duck" Dunn didn't say a word the entire show. However, he had a constant groove on and the only time his pipe left his mouth was to take a sip of scotch. Steve Cropper and Booker T kept trying to make him laugh for some reason, but he was unshakable. He was completely in his own world and had hair just like Jeff Lynn from ELO.
