One of Arkansas' greatest cultural treasures passed away today.

He lived near us, so our local paper is one big tribute. Lots of folks are sharing good memories of him.

Kelly, I thought you and CQ lived in the city. I did not realize you were up in the Woodstock area. I was in your neck of the woods for Woodstock 94.

Yeah, I'm bummed I never made it to one of his Midnight Rambles. My cousin went to several and was always floored by how nice and sincere he was. What a loss for the rest of us. :(

We're about halfway between the city and the Woodstock area. 8) Always happy to host those passing through NY on I-84 or the NY State Thruway.

I had the privilege of seeing the Band play at the King Biscuit Blues fest in Helena, Arkansas in the mid 90's (Levon, Danko and Hudson) with Arkansas own legendary Earl Cate sitting for Robbie Robertson. Right smack dab on the Mississippi River... If any of y'all are blues fans... Helena is the place to be the second weekend of October every year. Highly recommended by TikiMo

Memorial boulevard to be named after Levon in upstate NY.

Since it's named after a drummer I guess you can expect the speed limit to increasingly go faster and faster.
