Tis a sad day in red legs territory - the great Sparky Anderson is tamping his pipe in that big dugout in the sky.

Imagine being 10 and 11 when the Reds won back to back pennants!
What a great time to be that age.
My dad used to take me to see the Reds when it was firefighter night at Riverfront Stadium.
Great memories.

We were always amused when my dad (when tanned looked a lot like Sparky) was asked for his autograph.
Luckily, he was only asked during the big years for the Reds.

Don't forget Sparky on WKRP in '79.

We'll miss ya, Sparky!
