He was a classic...get ready for the Toni-a-thons on TV. One of my favorites was "Some Like It Hot" that was a fabulous movie. RIP Toni.

Not to forget Eddie Fisher! Dad of Princess Leia!
Well, yeah he was famous for a few other things as well.
Does that mean there was an extra...or are there two more to come?

Too many great TC movies to mention. I especially love the many screwball comedies he did in the sixties.

My favorite was The Great Imposter. I dunno how much of that movie was really true but I always found it fun.

the great race was super cheezy, but of course it inspired wacky races, so what's not to like?

operation petticoat was a great movie too, again cheezy but very enjoyable.

In a bit of kismet, it's the 50th anniversary of the first Flintstones broadcast today. 8)

My first thought when I'd heard of his passing was "I want to watch Some Like it Hot" and Captain Quad's was "I want to watch Sweet Smell of Success." I think both are in order--a double feature tribute.

MSN ran a piece about the funeral today, I loved this part:

A montage of Curtis' famous film roles opened the sometimes solemn, sometimes mirthful farewell service attended by California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor Jamie Lee Curtis, porn star Ron Jeremy, and Vera Goulet, widow of Broadway singer Robert Goulet. The crowd laughed as an animated Curtis appeared in a scene from the television series "The Flintstones" and sparred with actor Kirk Douglas in "Spartacus."
